How we list
This directory is built by hand, entry by entry. Here's exactly how it works.
How an operator gets listed
- We research truck tire and roadside repair operators working the I-94 / Blue Water corridor — Port Huron and St Clair County, the approaches (I-69, M-53, M-21), and the Canadian side of the bridge — from their own websites, their own Google profiles, and public listings.
- Corridor-relevant only. National consumer tire chains aren't listed. National travel-stop networks (Speedco, Love's Truck Care) are listed as clearly-marked corridor infrastructure, because freight runs on them — but they're never centered as locals.
- Being listed is free. We don't charge to add or keep a listing.
Verification — the sourcing ladder
- From the operator's own site — the strongest source; the listing says so.
- From the operator's Google profile — the profile they registered themselves; the listing says that too.
- Verification call pending — when neither checks out, no number publishes. We never list a number we can't attribute.
- The same verification call fills the wedge columns: 24/7 status, mobile service and radius, new/used/caps, retreading, fleet accounts, response time, cross-border. A 24/7 or mobile mark only appears when the operator's own site states it — otherwise the column says confirming. Anything an operator tells us by phone gets a date on it.
Why every number is tappable
This directory has no call center and no routing line — the number you tap rings the operator directly, which is the whole point at 2am on a shoulder. We count taps on our own pages (plain analytics) so we know the directory is working; that's the extent of it. We don't sell calls, don't route them, and don't take a cut of any job.
Order and ranking
Listings are grouped by kind and home territory, and within each page they appear in a different order on every visit — the page shuffles its cards each time it loads, so no operator is first by default. We don't sell position. If we ever offer clearly-marked featured placements, they'll be labeled as such — nothing else changes.
Corrections & removals
Wrong details, closed business, or you'd rather not be listed? The claim page is the route, or email [email protected] directly — ownership is verified before anything changes.
What we are not
We're not a tire shop, not a dispatch service, and not affiliated with any listed business. You deal with the operator directly — we just publish the corridor's tire bench, verified and attributed.
